Big boys toys Xmas excitement

Post by jonathon »

Right then, we have an area 60ftx20 to build a Scalextric track and offer anyone on here a chance to compete in an Xmas challenge.
We already have masses of track but might need some more handsets and transformers to boost the power.
The idea is that we can supply several cars but you are welcome to bring your own. I'm open to ideas as to the format, ie teams or individual/both etc. So put your thinking heads on and put your name forward to the challenge.
Date to be decided from feedback, but refreshments and food will be supplied.
Needless to say the event will be held at our workshops in Napton, (about 8 miles from Coventry) :D :D

Neat idea! I don't think my cars have had a run out in 20 years, so will be digging them out if I can make the date/s :D

Excellent Steve,
Dates to do this, how about Sat 24th Nov, 5th,12, or 19th of Dec.
A Friday prior to each of these dates is also doable.
:D

Okay Guy's, I'm going to suggest Sat 15th of Dec, please can you indicate if you are available on this date or a preference if not.
We now number 12. I'm hoping to build either Donington,Monaco, or Monza, which will need 6sq m. If you prefer, a fast and twisty go for Donington, fast Monza or twisty and demanding Monaco. :D
