Water valve control

Post by FrankM83 »

Hi all, on my 70 van I had a switch sort of like a choke pull type under the dash, it was disconnected from the engine bay, i though it was an aftermarket something, but on the manual it is listed as Water Valve Control any idea what purpose this had? and to what was it connected? Thanks

Hi ,I think this would have gone to the water valve at the back of the rocker cover that allowes water to flow to the heater.
HAVE IT! LOVE IT! DRIVE IT!

It controls the water valve.

It's for regulating the water supply to the heater. The valve should be on the back of the cylinder head.

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.
