Changing Marina PCD to fit Mogg wheels

Post by RobThomas »

Must be an old Q, but maybe someone can point me towards a company who can still do this job today?

Got the bits but with marina PCD still on them. I've also got Riley 1.5 brakes but the shoes are worn out (new cylinders, though) and am wondering which way I should go. My MM drum on one side is cracked and one wheelnut has pulled through the stud hole in one rim so it is time to go '1000' on the car.

Eventually I'll need an axle to drop in the rear but I'm not in a big hurry for that. I've got tons of diffs in different ratios (5.35 to 3.5) but no suitable casing.

Just about any engineering shop will be able to change the PCD to 4 inch.
However as things tend to be metric these days, make sure you point out that you want 101.6 mm PCD and NOT 100mm

I got a set of exchange Riley 1.5 front shoes (relined) for £19.95+VAT from Earlpart (01773 719504).

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.
