Bet it doesnt get pulled at all. Reporting is such a random luck factor nowadays things rarely go.
Remember the scammer a little while ago with teh classified for the non existent trav - not only was id dodgy was a complete copy of a previous genuine listing and that never got pulled in 30 days.
Fleabay sucks in that regard and cant wait to not have to be dealing with it :-(

Just reported this one, if they don't remove the advert I'll be a little peeved. I just had an ad for some 'used' (not but listed them as this in error) cloth nappies pulled within 12 hours.

Don't see any harm in this - nice mantlepiece ornament. It's not as if it can be used to get free tax on a later car - since all Minors get free tax anyway! However this is common in Mini land - where old books and plates can and are used to get free tax on 'later' cars!! Good luck to them I say.

Can be used to 'legalise' a stolen car though. May thet rot in purgatory, I say.

And why on earth would anyone want to display a chassis plate and V5 for a vehicle they don't own on their mantlepiece?:o

[hypotherical scenario]What about "harmless ringing". Lets say you save a rusty project Minor from the scrapper, but its been off the road so long it has no papers and DVLA has no record. Face loads of hassle, time wasted, cost and suffer an "age related plate" or use an identity from a scrap car of the same age and use the chassis plate and use V5 and the reg number of that scrapped car.

Not strictly legal, but if neither car is stolen and it saves loads of hassle from the DVLA, a victimless crime surely????[hypotherical scenario/]

Not once that chassis plate is on the car! The hypothetical case is exactly what this will be useful for. Or - nice decoration on that mantelpiece!
