Traveller trafficator slot

Post by jgunson »

I have a '61 traveller which the previous owner has removed the trafficators and fibreglassed the slots from where they came. I would like to put them back but its not immediately obvious whether any metal has been removed. The outline of the slots looks about right but having looked at photos of saloon cars there seems to be a raised portion around the trafficator. Can anyone tell me if this is the case with the traveller? Better still does anyone have a photo of a traveller with trafficators?

As far as I can remember, the traveller B post section is just flat with a slot in it. Not like the 4 door saloons with a raised pressing round it...
cheers

Thanks for the photo, I don't think I'll need any measurements. There is a faint outline of the slot where the filler hasn't been feathered in well and it looks more or less identical in proportion to that shown in the photo. :D
