Cheers Robins, unfortunately the nearest Lucas dealer seems to be at least 40 odd miles away from me!!

I can order the plugs at my local (ish) motor factor, but it's just a shame that I can't from Halfords which is a NGK dealer!

Thanks anyway!

Cheers guys.

The local motor factor told me to use NGK instead of the Bosch plugs too, so I thought I'd see what your experiences were. Many people seem to use NGK and are happy with them judging from the replies, goes to show not to believe the hype.

Personally I try to support the local motor factor instead of Halfords because the guys there know what a Minor is! It's such a pity only Halfords opens on a Sunday.

I agree with you on supporting you local factor providing you have one, and I am glad your local one agrees with us that the Bosch ones that cost twice as much as not much good for the Moggie.
Cheers

The garage that services my dads (modern) car says NGK plugs are the best ones, and they have never had any problems with them....
