Hi Gordon G and welcome to the forum! You've got a great attitude to cars. Yes, modern cars are boring! As a professional mechanic your views could be very valuable here.

There are, I believe a few Scottish members on here. I go back to Scotland a few times a year myself- not yet in the Minor.

A Minor is a great car to run as a daily driver. They do drive extreemly well, a totally different experience to a modern car. I know my cars quite well, but modern cars are a bit of a mystery to me. A Moggie you can repair everything on them with fairly straightforward tools.

Are you thinking of buying one yourself?
Cheers John - all comments IMHO

That will be either Smoke Grey or Burmuda Blue if its an ex police car.

Loads of Scottish Minors around - you should have been at Culzean Castle yesterday - last show of the year unfortunately.
