Hexadecimal (base 16) representation of a computer register contaning zero. We use hex because it's easier to understand than pure binary, and very easy to convert between the two. Could also use octal (base
but I've always been a man for hex. I just thought that with the messageboard slant it was a more appropriate way of saying the same as Onne.
Edit: That should read base 8 for octal but PHP seems to interpret it as a smiley

Wasnt hex and binary used on old computers in order to make a program open/function etc?
Ultimate rust cure for your moggy....paint it brown, at least that way you dont notice the rust as much!!

It's all binary down at the hardware level. Hex is commonly used by programmers because it's more convenient for certain things.
