Traveller indicators

Post by 53buick »

Hi all,
I am new to this site, we bought a traveller yesterday and I am very keen to get it back on the road next week (last otr 2001).
I got everything working apart from the indicators.
I have a flasher box (8 wire) we will call box1 and also a 3 terminal box next to it we will call box2.
Box1 clunks once the indicator stalk is moved, box2 get damned hot shortly afterwards.
no lights are on at all ever.
This is a 1962 car with integrated stop/tail/flash rear lamps btw.
I hope someone can help, I can't wait to get this baby on the road..........
Regards,
Spence

Sorted it, every electrical contact needed WD40 and now with a charged battery, it is all fine....

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.
