Eyebolt washer / Camber adjustment

I thought if the top of the wheel is leaning in, then thats negative camber.

Now i'm thinking I should remove the 3mm spacer I put in on the O/S and move it to the N/S to balance it out.

Heres one of my 5/16 U-washer i milled this morning. The other is already on the car. Its not brass although the lighting makes it look like it. It was easy to slip in and the front now has slight negative camber

Well done! just make sure the nut on the end of the T bolt has full thread engagement.

Yep it does, one thread is showing but im going to drill it and put a cotter pin through it just to be safe

The problem with any 'U' shaped washer(s), is that they will allow water into the eye bolt tube, followed by corrosion. A full washer(s) plus lots of copper grease will keep out the moisture and prevent corrosion - also makes it easy to remove the eye bolt if required.

Which is why I used a flat plate with hole in - also spreads the loads out a bit more! But lots of underseal on the washer should keep the water out.

I was talking to my dad about the other day and he said old chevy and muscle cars came stock with u-
washers and you could buy different u-washers to adjust the camber
