Hi, some of you may remember I changed my front bushes recently, it went well. But I've noticed that there is no washer between the tie bar fork and the suspension arm, where to tie bar bolts on. My manual shows a washer but mine didn't have one on both sides. Are they needed? If I so what damage have I done to the car, driving without them?
Regards, David.

The tie bar fork should have a rectangular spacer between it and the bottom arm. You will have increased the caster angle and kingpin angle significantly by leaving this out, = much sharper steering. You need to replace these asap to try and normalise the front end geometry. The nut side normally only has the spring washer and nut.
