is it easy? has it been done?

im just wandering whether its worth the bother to get the midget brakes on the back

if it can be done easy, will i also need a midget propshaft?

i know this doesnt have alot to do with the above but will a morris marina gearbox fit on an mg midget engine because the gearboxes look so incredibly alike

Are Midget rear brakes any better than Minor rear brakes then? Can't say I've noticed. I think the Midget's narrower than the Minor -not that I've ever measured them mind you.

As for the gearbox question I guess it depends whether it's a 1275 or a 1500 Midget. The 1500 Midget had the Triumph-sourced gearbox which I'm guessing is much the same as the Marina one.

The Midget axle is narrower and the brakes no better! If you want better rear brakes - get the 8" ones from Wolseley 1500 - they are fantastic on a Minor, but really not necessary for a road car where the standard rear brakes are more than adequate for any sane use.
