Could anyone please post the dimensions or measurement diagram of the trafficator slot on the 2 door splitties?

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

slots
Good question! The rust inside the area where the trafficator slots had leaked water was dreadful on my 57' convertible. No problem since i had no intention of relying on them, using flashing indicators in order to prevent my car being involved in a totally avoidable accident, so I sealed them with black mastic!! After a thorough soaking with Waxoyl I have had no problems over the last twelve years.

Assuming.......
the Minor 1000 has it's slot in the same place as a splitty then.....
The bottom screw fitment is 235mm above the base of the curved section of the side panel (following the curve - not vertical)
Both screws are 17mm from the panel edge (door gap)
The trafficator slot starts 15mm above the bottom screw centre.
The slot is 198mm long.
the widest point of the slot is 51mm from the bottom edge.
the slot is 8mm at the top, 14.5mm at the widest and 12mm at the bottom.
the top screw centre is 29mm above the top of the slot.
The slot has a 2mm rolled lip.

Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.
