Front suspension service

Post by youngun »

Got me torsion bars etc off today, the steering rack makes a horrible grinding noise when i turn it (dry?) and is hard to make move as well. But anyway, what will i need to replace suspension wise seeing as its all apart, are the Poly bushes worth getting?
Ultimate rust cure for your moggy....paint it brown, at least that way you dont notice the rust as much!!

Certainly for the top trunnions you want the poly bushes - big improvemnet there. If renewing all - then yes - fit poly. But your rack sounds like it has a problem - better pull it out and clean/inspect to see what's wrong!
