Mansfield Area Branch

Following an advert in Minor Matters, asking for members in the Mansfield area to contact him, Darren White has had an encouraging response.

He has arranged to meet on Thursday 28th June at the Roughford Arms, Chesterfield Road, Mansfield; from 6pm.

All Minor owners in the area are invited of course in their Minor as there is a large car park.

Darren does not have a car at present (used to own a Series II Traveller) but is very keen.

An e-mail was received coincidently enquiring about setting up a branch in the Mansfield area, so discussions on the formation of a new branch may ensue! :D

Hi

Just bought my second minor, sold the first in 1986 and regretted it ever since. Saw there is a new branch in the Mansfield area and wondered when the next meeting will be held.

You can join as many branches as you like but this can cause a problem when it comes round to the Christmas do`s

Well, of course not, but it would be nice to meet the local people in the Mansfield area.

In the dim & distant past when there was a lot more time about, I used to go to 3 branches - Leicester, EMids & Rugby - luckily they all met on different weeks - twas a bit quiet on the 4th week though :lol:

It's always nice to meet Minor enthusiasts, and hopefully we will shortly meet a few new ones in Orkney :wink: :D
