convertible wood

what wood was used for the header rail and rear finisher
was it ash as per traveller or a hard wood
thinking of making my own with original as a pattern?

Don't know, sorry, but FWIW ash IS a hardwood :)

It is ash, The Minor timber specialists do these parts if required. :wink:
