Hamerite paint

Post by RogerRust »

You really do get a better gloss finish if you bake the item (if its safe to do so) in the oven for 30 mins at a low heat. The paint goes a bit soft and sticky when its hot so best to leave it in the oven to cool. I have made some little hooks to hang items from to keep them off the grills.

I don't put them in the oven until the have air dried for a couple of days and there is very little in the way of a smell which soon goes away.
