145x14 New tyres

Post by myminor1969 »

Continental WinterContact TS 760 145/80 R14 76T.
Just found these listed on 'Mytyres.co.uk' looks as if they will be suitable for the Minor for all conditions.

It would be a winter tyre. So it would wear out quite quick over summer use.

The (never available in the UK)VW 3L Lupo ultra economic car also use low resistance 145x14 tyres. I think the tyre you specify is for that car, as it is the law in Germany to have winter and summer tyres. So my parents told me!

yes - They are likely to be for the German 3L Lupo. It's not 'the law' to have winter tyres, but it may invalidate your insurance not to have them in the event of an accident (or so I'm told)
