Quick Trunion Question

Post by dunketh »

My new trunions are marked Left and Right.

Which of these is the drivers side?

They dont specify from what end you're looking.

Also, whats the difference? I cant see there being any but they are clearly sold as different parts... :-?
What would Macgyver do..?

I think it's from the perspective of the driver's seat. The thread on the top trunnion is handed.

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

Yes Alex is correct, all directions are taken from the driving position - front, back, left & right.
