Or cheat like I do mark the front lead with 1 stripe of tippex, the 2nd with 2 and so on!
I found tippex has a tendency to disappear and chip off... Cable ties work really well! One on one, two on two and so on... You just have to be careful to cut them so they're not sharp.
Is rust infectious? My hands are turning red...

You only need one tiny cable tie - on #1 plug. The others then follow in sequence.

The Midget has 2 grey leads and 2 red. The Red are on 1 and 3, the grey on 2 and 4.

Makes it quite easy to stick them back on without too much brain power :)

A ring of insulation tape negates any problems with sharp bits :D

One advantage to the cable tie method is that you can feel which is which in the dark.
