Me too, baking brownies, loving the new mog (pics to follow) and fretting about Bert and her failed mot... :D

I'm a bit worried about the addictiveness of these motors ! Got the wind turbine making bug once quite badly but that was nothing compared to this :-)

Arthur as in Arthur Dent? That would be cool considering who Fenchurch is named after ;)

I know what you mean. At least I've so far managed to resist the urge to buy a second one. :-?

Nope, Arthur as in Arthur the 5 year old triplet to whom I lived next door for a while :D

At least I've so far managed to resist the urge to buy a second one.

I started with two, then left one in England and took one to the US (where I am now)... That way I have one on both sides of the waters, so always happy... I agree, Orkney, they're addictive. Started some serious stuff on mine in the last three weeks since school broke up, haven't missed a day working on the old thing yet!
Desperately campaigning for a third one in the family (preferably convertible)! In fact, it's a vague ambition to have an example of every type of Morris created, from Series 1 to Million, Convertible to Van... People would look at me in the street and say "look, it's the strange man with too many old cars... Keep away from him, son, they say the oil stains in his fingers will never come out! He's a strange 'un, right enough..." :)
Is there a cure? :D

Funny you should mention the Million, was reading about those the other day.
Have located 2 abandoned (and very dilapidated) minors here so far that will be free for me to take away, shan't stop looking until i find them all - cant help thinking what if one were a million !
Not much chance but better than the odds of winning the lottery i guess :)

Haha... I wouldn't mind one. They have a certain charm- someone had a funny idea- fit tracks instead of rear wheels, and have finally a car that didn't get stuck in snow and mud (actually this person wanted it for desert driving), a Morris half-track! Awfully handy for ferrying dogs, bricks, people etc... I've always wanted to see a Moggy pick-up half track since then, he had concept drawings and all!

I only ask for my parents' sake... I'm still too young to be making any money, so they pay for the spares etc

One possible 'cure' is a TR 7 !! Far better value for money to buy (just look at ebay prices) and very different too. At the moment i have one of each - and hope to keep them both!
