Are two-door front doors the same as four-door ones?

Post by jackkelleher »

Putting this up at mb37's request. They have asked whether a door from a 1959 two-door Minor is the same as one from a 1959 four-door model?.. I'm not sure of the answer myself, but I think they're different. Help appreciated!

No, two-door saloons and travellers have wider doors than four-door saloons and LCVs.

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.
