I thought it would be a good idea to put all three of my vehicles with the same insurer but it didn't seem to have any bearing on the cost of policies. We have the Trabi and 250JU with Sureterm because we had discount vouchers but our Minor is with FJ.

I'd found Sureterm really good but recently I've had to do a bit of shouting and with recent renewals they've really been really crap.

Having previously been with AON I'd say they provide an exceptionally good service. The call out guys knew what they were doing whereas the FJ guy didn't know what a distributor was.

Cheapest is not always the best.

Funny things insurance co's......
I've been with AON for quite a few years now and have praised them a lot on this forum..
However..... just received my renewal the other day and the increase in premiums is astronomical... never had a claim and just pay my premiums yearly :-?
I've been in touch with them and it's the same old story, inflation etc; etc; Did manage to get £30 knocked off but am going to shop around before I renew, luckily not due till the end of the month :-?
Will let you know the outcome

I got spammed yesterday on an email address I've only ever given to Adrian Flux when I requested an insurance quote. Some opticians trying to flog me a pair of spectacles...

We have a hell of a time trying to find insurance for the Snail because of its modifications, have had to renew again with FireBond - £212.01

Private Car Insurance - 103.01
Motor Legal Expenses Insurance - 19.50
Classic Vehicle Valuation Charge - 15
Firebond Vehicle Rescue Insurance - 39.50
Agent Fee - 35 (as the insurer is really NIG) - 35

35, driving since 18, one crash at 18/19, clean liscence, no fines.

sucks big style
