How annoying is that...!....

Post by Mike Shipman »

...you been umming and arring for about a year - wether to buy a complete waistrail or keep reminding your next door (tree surgeon) neighbour to bring home a 3"x3" ash log to scarf into that rotten nearside lump.
Then you see the ebay listing - "nearside waistrail - never used"...! - gotta have it thinks I....auction is us at 1.30 Saturday afternoon - only one bider at £10.... get in in the last seconds and slam in a winning bid, that'll still be a whole lot lower than buying new.....
So there I was - getting lunch ready for 3 kids...served it up, washed the empties...then " O M G!!!" "whats the time...!!.l..looked at the clock 1.48...!
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh Nooooooooooooooooo!
Checked the auction - it sold with one bid for £10.....how glum am I!
Anyone gotta nearsie waistrail for sale? :(

Mike, why don't you do a yell search for a local timber merchant? Surely they will have a piece of ash suitable for a small enough fee? Worth a try anyway ;)
