Help! Help! Help!.
I know a fair bit about cars but can anyone tell me can i get a mini a class into a moggie how do i do it ie rear wheel drive to transverse is it worth doing or what other lump would fit in and not cost the earth,please email me at mrminibus@hotmail.com thanx daren...

Its just not worth the extensive modification to a mini engine when a marina or sprite etc will fit.

If you are after an increase in power but still want to retain the A-Series, then a good starting point is the Morris Ital engine (1275), as this is A+ and provides a good strong base to build a good unit. The marina and sprite engines seem to be getting a bit thin on the ground from scrapyards, but the later Ital still crops up every now and then!!
