ESM/MGM ref number STR136 track rod end runs from 1959 to 1971, so I would only guess that a mini one may fit. Left and right ones are the same. I gather that the thread on the rod is bigger in diameter on the later car. Have you tried your local motor factors? They usually carry stock (Partco/Motofacts etc). Dont forget to reset your 3mm toe in...

my local has 1 and another on order which will hopefully be here tom at 10.30
cutting it fine hey for the 12.00 deadline lol
but i just took the bad one off and now off to get the one they have in stock it only to 1 min to get off.
luckily i remembered i had a ball joint splitter after about 10 wacks and not budging
i asked partco to check the cross refernce but the mini is dif.
there's a mini place near me and they are only £4 each so i was hoping it would fit o well i'll just have to swap this one tonight and then do the other in the morning and get him to set the tracking up for me

I'm fairly sure it's the other way round - the eary cars had thicker track rod ends.Left and right ones are the same. I gather that the thread on the rod is bigger in diameter on the later car.
