has anyone else noticed that royal mail are taking ages delivery stuff lately

i'm waiting on a number of things which were sent 1st class packet post so by rights should be delivered next day.

but they were posted out last fri and this mon and i still haven't got them??????????

It varies depending on how well your local sorting office is staffed and managed. Mine seems to be doing OK at the moment, touch wood. I've met my sorting office daytime manager and he seemed a nice chap.

I bought a CD on ebay - after 10 days from postmark it arrived broken into bits.
The seller was kind enough to send me another - it arrived next day - in fact most of my stuff has been next day apart from this CD.
So maybe they only hang on to the ones that are being used for frisbee/shotput practice?
