Must be a fair bit of extra weight over the rear axle

I've only had one on the back before and you can feel that!

I guess with two people sat in the front it evens it out a bit.

lol.. I'm trying to cut back on extra pie at the moment!!
Any more extra pie and I'll need extra trousers!

THe rack mounts on the bootlid. There are two straps that clip around the top lip of the boot and two other straps that clip around the seam at the bottom of the car. You pull these straps tight and voila!

The rack is actually designed to fit a hatchback car but seems to fit the minor perfectly.
The boot panel and hinges cope with the weight fine.
