No worries Paul!
Rob, Josh, Mike and I had a pleasant evening and i managed to make it home without being a wimp and putting the top up!
That will teach me to remember my thick coat next time!
I won't be there next week as explained tonight, but i will catch up with you all soon!

Hey chaps,
Anybody got some rear brake return springs going spare? I took off the nearside drum on sunday to find only one spring.
Thanks to Carlo for his tip of undoing the centre brake union first, but alas it didn't help - I attached the seized end to the new cylinder fine but the pipe is in the wrong orientation to reattach in the centre. The thread on the new cylinder is the correct diameter and pitch, but it just so happens that the thread is rotated compared to the old cylinder. Bugger. Some new pipes are on their way...
Couldn't get the handbrake cable end off the cylinder lever either...
Another thing: anybody fancy a welding course? More details on thursday.

As discussed with JimK I proposed a visit to the Obelisk pub in Woolston at some time in the near future. Just round the corner from me and easy to find. Seeing as the majority of you haven't seen Albert yet you can get your noses under my carport too.
All those in favour?
All those in favour?
Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.

Sorry Pete, forgot about that when a chap here started talking about the Royal Oak. Do you want to do it this week? I'd very much like to see Albert and I'm around for the next three thursdays, after which I'm away for several weeks.Peetee wrote:As discussed with JimK I proposed a visit to the Obelisk pub in Woolston at some time in the near future.
