This is a great jigsaw puzzle but the smell of rust damp and mould is gradually fading.
I've just (successfully!) welded in a new driver's side floor but I now need some advice about fitting the new front spring hanger.
The front spring hanger repair comes on a plate. Where the hanger repair meets the new floor, should I cut out the extra piece of plate, cut out a bit of my lovely new floor or simply weld the hanger plate over the new floor?
Ideas/suggestion/votes?
thanks
Alastair
