CAN SOMEONE HELP ME??

Annie is 1968 Moggie 1000; ive neglected her due to company car and she's been in a garage for 12 months. Tried to start her last weekend and whilst charging the battery a little old man appeared, pulled bits of Annie's insides out and said 'your pump is dead'. He then disappeared!!

So she wont start, I dont know what little old man has done to her! I cant move her and im very very stupid about cars, very, very.

Would anyone live in the lancashire area and be prepared to have a look at her for me? (but not if you are the above little old man!!!) I will provide beer/tea/pies/etc etc and money if needed.

Oh actually the car is in Unsworth Bury.

If you don't get help from anyone nearer than me, (nr Blackpool) I'm sure that I might be able to persuade my better half to come out for an outing, especially if there's the "carrot" of a hike in the countryside nearby!

thank you, thats very good of you..we live in Haslingden (although the car is in Bury) loads of wide open spaces and good walking area, you can even take my dog for a walk!!

In the meantime try turning on the ignition and giving the petrol pump a smart tap on the metal body. If it starts to click then yes, your pump is sticking so you should clean the contacts(under the plastic end cover).

im sure i have pm'd you several times, but my outbox says otherwise...so sorry to hassle you and ignore me if you please...but ive now melted my jump leads..Annie still wont start, if you are free at the weekend I will pay expenses, petrol etc etc. I just need to start her and get her running.

If not if anyone else is out there and in need of a trip out to east lancs?
