I am fitting a late boot to Sophie with the self latching support.
Can anyone send me a picture of the fitting arrangement on the car end of the support and accurately measure where it fits?
thanks Roger.

Attempt 2 at this. I hope you will be able to see the tape measurements and scale the photo. The fitting is 2" wide. You will notice that the stay is a gas strut. This gave me one handed opening and closing of the boot.

Roger,
If you need the measurement for the original self latching support rather than a gas strut I'll get this for you today as I have the day off and will be spending it 'tinkering' with my car

I thought it would just be screwed into the flange for the boot lip. I see now I will have to make a support bracket.
Now I just need to know how far up or down the bracket is from the top of the opening. So that I can position it correctly.
thanks guys

The bottom edge of the bracket is exactly 15 1/2 inches from the top of the boot board support 'strut' if that helps.

I should have made clear that the bracket on mine is the std one for the self latching support. I tried to take the photo from square on so other dimensions can be worked out. This full length bracket is needed as the boot lip flange is too flexy without it.

Can anyone recommend a suitable gas ram for the minor boot lid?
