 that's funny - I've just watched it 5 times.
The little silver car could have driven in between the left bollard and the lamp post.

Did anyone else notice that the white van man at the end didn't wear a seatbelt and smashed the windscreen with his forehead?

where to break down next?

Yes and you can see him hold his head as he gets out.

Ah yes, this has been posted on another motoring forum I'm a member of - it's very funny, and yes, all I could think of was "Serves you right, you muppets"! It's not as if the signs aren't clear - big flashing LEDs, for goodness' sake!

pure genius
must be sympathetic to the poor people though, not having any brains or knowledge of the signs... its people like that who are so unfortunate and dont understand why they get booked doing 50 past a speed camera in town etc

Did anyone recognise where this was filmed?

It's obviously in the UK (registration format, RHD, buses). The only place I know that Oxford has these rising bollards - anywhere else?

Cheers,

Colin

yes it is manchester, there was an article in the manchester evening news about the 4wd when it happened with a lovely picture. the driver was not in the picture but the reg was clearly visable. stupid things happen to stupid people! very funny to watch and good of them to install a camera so we could all have a laugh.

Would never happen to a mog driver of course, apart from the fact they wouldn't be so dumb, they would be fully up for at least three seconds before you got any where close !!
