Traveller Roof Rack

Hi all,
I would like some advice and ideas of the best type of roof rack for the traveller. We are having a holiday this year which involves a week of driving around with the two dogs in the boot, all our luggage and 2 surfboards, wetsuits etc. What i want is something that looks good but wont have to take much weight, i guess i will have to support the back rack by attaching it to the wood, or is the gutter strong enough for that type of use?? any thoughts or photos of would be awesome.

Gutter etc is all aluminium with very little strength. You could easily damage the roof.
