fitting an oil pressure gauge

can someone advise on connecting this little lot.

i assume B goes to C with a washer between, and D goes into the engine and the spare washer on the back of the gauge, but what of the rest?

A to F
B to C with fibre washer
E to G
D to engine.

I suggest you fit the D part to the engine first. Keep an eye on the alignment of F then screw in A and fit the pipe. Finally add the oil light switch E.

Right..... D goes into the hole E came out of, E now goes into G, A goes into F and C goes onto B with 1 washer. The other washer goes at the other end of C and into your guage.

Hi Cliff
I've just done this job.
D goes into the engine.
A goes into F, ensuring that F is pointing to the rear of the car.
C is tightened onto B with the brass nut. (On my kit, there were no washers, seems leak free!)
E goes into G. You re-attach the sender wire to it.
Once all was tight, (but don't overdo it as they are brass fittings,) thread the capillary tube into the car. You need to bleed the air out of the tube, so remove the lead friom the coil, an turn the engine over on starter until you see the oil rising. It carries on for a few seconds, so have cloth ready! When full, make the attachment to the guage.
Simple as that!

Just checked my recent installation, do NOT forget the washers! I didn't have any washers in the kit I bought, and now have a small puddle of oil to prove it!
