Minor Pickup in Fareham?

Post by dunketh »

Is it one of you?

I see it whenever I'm sent over here to work.
(I work near Segensworth).

Its parked in the B&Q/Allied(*) Carpets carpark.
Its an Austin badged van.

(*or some generic carpet warehouse place)
What would Macgyver do..?

It belongs to one of the Warehouse guys in the B&Q. I had a good look at it when I worked there, its a nice vehicle thats for sure!

Although today, the rear arch was entirely covered with silver gaffa......

I saw the gaffa tape too! Needs must and all that I guess.
I was parked behind it, admiring the massive 'industrial' leaf springs these things have.

It was just a novelty to see some eliptical springs doing their job properly.
My rear leafs have completely flattened out, its another thing on my 'To Do' list. They're so bad the axle tramps all over the place.
