thank you for the "schultz" link chickenjohn, the plot thickens *makes a note to search with both spellings when googling* :D

pascal if you look at the schultz gun chickenjohn links to, it says it needs 8cfm to operate it, at 90psi (6.2 bar) - hope that's helpful, and hope I've picked up on the right bit to quote

And, as ever. the biggest air tank you can get, I really don't think that compressor will be much use for anything except an air brush, which in fairness is what they're selling it for.

unfortunatly they all went in my local store (15 miles away) in 45 mins and i could not get there that day, so anyone have a spare??

i am going to need on at some point this summer and all the ones on ebay are for more cash, lower specification and less warranty. plus the ones in most shops i can find are just too expensive for the same spec.

I've used the pump action spray gun and found it worked reallly well, almost too well as it squirte out loads of the stuff.
However, the extension probe (read 'pipe with a nail in it') is about as useful as the good old choccy kettle.
What would Macgyver do..?

I think the lesson from all the above is that the efficiency of the Waxoyl
provided applicators depends entirely on how thin the Waxoyl was at the time of application. The shutz(get a life)gun would not be so dependent.
