Decided it only needs a repair kit, stripped it, but can i get the new rubber valve washer to locate in the grove in the main body of the cylinder?

Ok, so i got the cylinder out eventually!
Decided it only needs a repair kit, stripped it, but can i get the new rubber valve washer to locate in the grove in the main body of the cylinder?
