Hood fitters

Post by smithwib »

Need to fit a new hood to my Morris Convertible and just wondering if anyone can recommend a coachtrimmer/hood fitting garage in London who might be able to do this? My usual chap doesn't really do upholstery & trimming, just the greasy bits :)

Also, any ideas how much it should cost? Looks like the kind of job that could be done DIY, but might be a bit tricky in this colder weather (as I saw from previous posts).

Thanks for your reply. I managed to find a local firm to fit it in the end. They're called "S Phillips" and they're on Kentish Town Road, just up from Camden. I'd recommend them to anyone else reading this post - did an excellent job for £175 which I thought wasn't too bad.
