Warning: potential scam.

Heard about this on another forum. No sign of it here, and I couldn't find any thread, but it's best to be safe.

It could be a hoax, but it seems like some people on other car related forums lost a lot of money.

Bottom line is, a new user joins and after a short time has a garage clearout. Stuff is at good prices so people get pulled in. He asks for payment via paypal, but stuff never gets delivered. Once people get suspicious, he just dissapears.

I'm sure we all do, but think before parting with money: do you really know who the person is? If something looks like a bargain, it's easy to get sucked in.

There was a person who came on here and offered to sell loads of parts, at great prices... wanted payment in advance to be sent to his friends because he was away for a week... messed me (and another member) around royally but neither of us were fooled!
