Need Help...Fiberglass Bonnet? 1959 Minor

Post by GhostFace »

I'm looking for a place to buy a fiberglass or carbon fiber bonnet. Does anyone know if these are even being made? I have a 1959 Morris Minor and can't seem to find one.

I'm pretty sure JLH do a glass bonnet and IIRC they are looking into the CF version too. Have a google for JLH Motorsport ;)

I contacted JLH a few months ago. They told me they had a flip front end but not just a bonnet in fiberglass. I am from the states...(Philadelphia) and I'm not sure what the specialists are or what IIRC stands for. Google didn't help me either. Could you clear this up for me? Thanks for your fast replys.

Don't know about the bonnet, but IIRC means "If I Recall Correctly."

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

Hi Ghostface,

My bonnet was from JLH It was moulded from a flip front then cut down. Then layered with carbon fibre. It's expensive but pleased with results!
