What kind of person would just cut windows in the back of a vehicle to get around rules! Crumbs the very thought of it!why not just cut holes in the back for windows

Right None of the Handbooks mention Gross weight (Bizarre) But I do have a handbook for the earlier model (forward and normal control) with weights (Chassis and cab)
3 ton truck, forward control 2140kg
4 ton truck, normal control 2390kg
I would estimate that if its one of the 4 ton (payload) versions all up it would weigh less than 6500kg fully laden.
Model is determined by length
Model Payload Length
T200 2 ton 16ft 7in
304 3 ton 18ft 7in
404 4 ton 20ft 5ins
All use same engines 4 litre 6 cylinder 90bhp petrol or
3.4 litre 4 cylinder 58bhp Diesel

I wouldn't be surprised if it weighs as much as a Minor.
You sure all petrol models had a six cylinder 4L engine? that almost sounds sophisticated!
At least it doesn't need a heater, as the engine is right in the middle of the cab!

Are you planning to export it then Onne? (you mentioned a container)
I think it could be a very interesting project as you can create whatever you want out of the back but might require a lot of money and probably won't be much fun to drive. Still, if you like it, then that's great!
I wonder why they only squeezed 90bhp from such a huge engine? Seems like a right waste of potential to me!

Hmmm I have made a harsh decision.
I have had a measure today, and a proper look.
My heart still says yes, but I am following my head this time (has to be a first!), and decided not to get it.
Too much of a gamble to me.
I do however have another project on the drawingboard, something to do with my current job.
