I am Dutch... and yes I have actually, but vaguely.

I hope to come down one day for one of these SADMOG meets. Even though I would be MADMOG of course!

You're not missing THAT much with not knowing red dwarf, Onne. It's OK, but did nothing that hadn't been done before...

All opinions expressed are, of course, somebody elses

Mr Flibble's very cross. You shouldn't have insulted Red Dwarf. What are we going to do with bigginger, Mr Flibble?

OK, it look like we are at the Oak Inn at Bank, Lyndhurst this week.

I've started a little SADMOG website to help track pub locations

main page is www.sadmog.morrisminor.com (SADMOG regulars might like to add that to their signature?)

and this weeks pub is detailed at www.sadmog.morrisminor.com/pubs/oak_inn/oak_inn.html

I'll add the other pubs, tidy it up and add pictures from previous meets and other things when I get some more time one evening.

See you all Thursday about 8

I've decided to call it the handbrick, as a nice condensing of its form and function.

Site as about html and other web faff as it's ever going to need, I reckon. Unless you know about or want to get into web programming I'd leave the look 'n' feel exactly as it is.

Just pretend we're all using 300baud modems :-)

That's what I figured Jim Keep it simple

The site is mostly to store pub directions on! but I'll add a few nice photos when I can get round to it and some of the other stuff we have done like the web rally.

We could also build our list of pubs yet to visit......

Good plan. Pub directions will save hunting back through this thread (which is getting really quite long) or duplicate posts (God forbid we should have any of those :-)). Photos and tales from other events will be nice, too.

Are there any? I thought we've found all the decent ones already...

Bank it is.

Great Idea Rob, I've lost count of the hours trolling through this thread to find the Pubs.
Ther must be more Pubs out there but I suggest we look for them in the Spring /summer when we can drive around and actually see them.

Well, the Oak is near Lyndhurst (in the Forest) so that's a "no" by quite a long way, but as it's only tuesday I guess we could pick somewhere else if you're coming?
What do you think, chaps? Somewhere east if Onne is coming, The Oak if he's not? Whereabouts east?

Onne, You'd go to the top of the leaderboard for "Furthest driven for a pint with SADMOG", overtaking Ugabugchugabug who drove about 40 miles last thursday :-)
Just to be certain: you have seen how far it is from Brighton to Southampton? I'm led to believe it's about two hours by Minor...

Onne, I've never travelled that road so I can't judge. Other SADMOGs know it so they might be able to say.

All I know is that I like my beer but I've never driven that far for one :-)

btw, what's a flip-flop van?

Don't go through to much effort, after all I am a MADMOG, not a SADMOG :D

Hi Onne

I am in Bognor Regis and it took me about 40 mins from here to Hedge End which is about 35 miles, here to Brighton is about 30 miles and takes about 50 mins depending on traffic, Worthing is the problem!

Ok... Shall we make that another time then? I don't think I can manage all those extra miles.

We'll have a pint when I'm nearer :D
