red inertia seat belts

Post by Pascal »

Hi,

I need to fit auto seatbelts all round in my 4-door saloon. The front ones should be straightforward. Can anybody explain how to fit 3 auto seat belts at the back?

I'm probably going to fit Securon 500/45 ones however ESM and Bull Motif only have them in black. I could get them in red from Securon direct but I would have to buy 10 at £39 each. Would anybody know a shop I could get the red ones from, or alternatively would anybody be interested in sharing the order of 10 red ones?

Regards,
Pascal

Have you asked MGM/ESM/BullMotif/Whoever to order you some red ones? It might be that Securon sell a minum of ten but would sell a mixed order to one of the traders?

Yes, I asked them and they too need to order them by 10. To make matters worse the ones at the back are different actually (254 or ), so I would have to buy 10 front ones + 10 back ones!

Just a matter of finding 5 x 4-door saloons with red interior that need matching seat belts...

You may be able to fit the rears with no problems but the front ones may be a different matter if the inertia angles and mountings are wrong.

I've actually decided to keep the original seat belts at the front and bought static seat belts for the back. I find they suit a classic car better.
