Self pedantry - Sorry, I meant quicker, since they're only 1/4 mile speeds :D

I dont think that Nick Manns car has been a road legal car for a while, hopefully John might be able to answer that one.

The Minor pick up in the first link is not running in street legal trim, it has racing slick tyres, however it would still be very quick on treaded tyres and probably the quickest over the 1/4 mile in the UK.


As far as I know Nic Manns Minor (owned by Bill Sherrat) is still street legal. It runs a large capacity Rover V8 still turboed.

The Minor racing the motorbike is a regular competitor in the Swedish street racing championship ( http://www.speedlife.se/movies.htm crazy videos of street racing)
