Van insurance

I know it's a non-moggie question, but......

I've already got an Astra estate, I use Budget insurance.
I fancy getting an Astra Van to keep my band gear in (amps, speakers, etc) all year round. It's a real pain at present shifting gear in and out of the house.
But can I insure an Astra van for social/domestic? It's not being used for business purposes.
Also, any recommendations for an insurance company which gives a decent discount for insuring both vehicles?

I believe a friend of mine drives an Astra van on a non-commercial policy. Don't know which insurer though.
