
As I sat at the lights in Swinton I watched a large, thick piece of roofing felt come of a roof and land right behind a pedestrian, although he didn't even notice.

I moved forward about 20 yards, next thing there was an almighty clatter and the offending article bounced of my shiny trafalgar blue roof.
It was getting dark, an early investigation shows that there don't appear to be any dents, but there is a fair few scratches and a load of tar marks.

Tell you what though, it wasn't for the faint-hearted going up the M62 today, I didn't half weave a wobbly path!
