Hi, can any one please tell me where the chassis number is stamped into the car. I have a 1967 4 door and I believe that it is somewhere around the charging reg box. If some one could tell me where or post a photo, it would save me alot of time with a scaper removing layer upon layer of paint. I do have the number on the vin plate but would like to locate the one thats stamped in, many thanks Pat.

It's next to the bonnet release rod.
