Falcon Exhausts.

Post by wanderinstar »

I am thinking of fitting a Falcon Exhaust system to my car and wanted to know if anyone has any positive comments about Falcon. Have been talking to Pyoor Kate and have had her comments [ very polite considering ]

Ian - is this the twin pipe exhaust to match the Metro exhaust manifold ?? If so - can you point us to any pics/prices of such a system ? I may be interested in this too.

Has no one else got this system then, or are people afraid to answer. [ not trying to open old wounds ]. Anybody please PM me with their comments.
Does anyone else make system to fit MG Metro manifold?

Do you have a picture of the Falcon front pipe arrangement Ian - or can you point to a Falcon website that shows it ?

Thats it Roy. The bent pipe is about 3 times magnification of manifold. Apparently when the two are connected together it just gets outside engine bay, according to ESM.

Well you can get standard S/S system for about £59.00 [ M/S will be cheaper still]
This one is 1 1/2" diameter. To get a LCB they are talking £99. So £72 is cheap by comparison.

That's your prerogative. Actuallyit's a 2-1 "downtube".

But it wont unfortunately fit a Metro Manifold, the Falcon Exhausts are large bore systems.
Cheers

Ahh - so what does it fit - if it won't fit the Metro manifold ? Is the Marina Manifold different ?

Err if you look on the ESM website it specifically says that that one is for a marina manifold, I believe the difference is that the marina//ital one has an inlet cast on it too!

Marina manifold = cast one piece inlet + exhaust, single down tube.

Yes... but there is also a twin downpipe one... same configuration on the exhaust as the metro but with a cast in inlet

Standard 1275 Mutro also had inlet attached - only the MG had the exhaust on it's own - but both were twin exit manifolds - and another thread on here suggests it to be exactly the same as the Marina twin exit manifold.
