hi appologies - but new to this-
I am currently doing a roof chopped moggy (1098) and after searching through your forums have noticed lots of different ideas re engine mods.
I have an old pair of twin su's off my old spitfire that i was going to use but majority of people say go with a single ?
Can you swap cylinder heads over from later A series engines onto my engine to increase performance (ie drop a 1275 head on)?
Hi have ordered the vizard book (the Bible) but was wondering if you had any suggestions.
Cheers

Welcome aboard
You will find Vizards book very useful and if you do a search on here you will find quite a few postings on the same subject.
Thats correct as the later HIF 38 & 44 carbs offer similar if not better performance with better fuel consuption and less tuning problems. Yes you can fit different heads although some require modifications.I have an old pair of twin su's off my old spitfire that i was going to use but majority of people say go with a single ?
